Reviewer Guidelines
Reviewing standards for INSTRUCTOR: Journal of Computer Science and Applications
Peer Review Model
INSTRUCTOR: JCSA is a single-blind peer reviewed journal: reviewers know the identity of the authors, but authors do not see which reviewers evaluated their manuscript. Reviews are anonymised before they are shared with the author.
Scholars interested in serving as reviewers are encouraged to contact the Managing Editor, Director of the Higher Teacher Training College (HTTC).
What Reviewers Evaluate
- Originality — novelty and contribution of the work.
- Significance — importance to the field and to the journal's readership.
- Methodology — soundness and reproducibility of the methods used.
- Clarity — quality of writing, organisation and presentation.
- Recommendation — an overall recommendation on the manuscript.
Reviews are completed through the online platform (score criteria + comments to the author). Constructive, specific and respectful feedback is expected.
Confidentiality & Ethics
- Manuscripts under review are confidential — do not share or discuss them.
- Declare any conflict of interest before accepting an invitation.
- Do not use ideas or data from a manuscript under review for your own work.
- Notify the editorial office if you cannot meet the review deadline.
