About the Journal

INSTRUCTOR: Journal of Computer Science and Applications (JCSA) is a single-blinded peer reviewed international scientific journal housed and published by the Higher Teacher Training College (HTTC) of The University of Bamenda, Cameroon.

INSTRUCTOR: JCSA publishes once per annum. To propose a special thematic issue, please contact the Managing Editor, Director of the Higher Teacher Training College (HTTC). Scholars interested in serving as reviewers are encouraged to contact the Managing Editor.

Scope

JCSA aims at unveiling innovative and uncommon trends in Computer Science and its applications through publishing research papers, reviews, and short communications from areas that include:

• Spatial Data Analysis
• Software Engineering
• Compilation and Language Translation
• Image and Signal Processing
• Artificial Intelligence
• Information Security
• Networking
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in human and social sciences

Only manuscripts within the scope of the journal are given full review. Manuscripts are written for a broad, diverse, international audience of either researchers and/or practitioners. Articles should be 12,000 words or less including references.

Submission Information

Submissions should not exceed 12,000 words. Accepted manuscripts will be available in print. All submissions will be liable to a non-refundable fee of 20,000 FCFA (35 USD) and should be paid via mobile money to MTN MoMo: (237) 678391473 · Orange Money: (237) 699462394.

Authors' Guidelines (Summary)

• Manuscripts must be written in English or French on A4 paper (21 cm x 29.7 cm), margins 2 cm all round. Microsoft Word format only.
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt for body/subheadings, 16 pt for the main title, line spacing 1.5.
• The first page should bear the complete title, full name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), email, contact/WhatsApp number of the corresponding author, abstract (≤ 250 words) and keywords (≤ 6).
• All titles and subtitles numbered sequentially (1, 1.1, 2, 2.1...) and left-aligned; body justified.
• Citations and references following the APA referencing style.
• Research articles should follow the order: Introduction/Background, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Author contributions, Conflict(s) of Interest, and References.
